I ended up on a rather spontaneous road trip to Destin for the 2nd annual Destin Songwriters Festival, where several big-time professional writers performed at the Hog's Breath Saloon. It was a blast.

Rare Crane Sighting
I spotted this huge piece of crane in the middle of Herman Street, just a block from my house, a couple days ago. The next morning it had been dismantled and loaded onto trucks. I don't know.
Atlanta - May 2008
I took a much needed road trip to Atlanta last week for some 6 Flags and to visit a couple friends. Also returned to Stone Mountain, which was definitely the highlight of the trip. I snapped the shot above just before descending to the base of the mountain on the tram.
